Q Gardens is listed in the NZ
Food Lovers Guide.
More than twenty years ago I started growing less common varieties of vegetables and for the past eight years I have been putting them in bottles.
Over the years I have met very many interesting people who have influenced what I grow by telling me what they would like but cannot find. Similarly I have gained ideas of ways to produce things in preserved form using high quality and often quite unusual spices.
I operate a mail order service if you are unable to call in. To get my products to you, either fresh or bottled I can confidently recommend courier delivery. To order you can phone, fax, write, email.
Q Gardens is a boutique supplier, concentrating on the New Zealand market. Enquiries are always welcome.
Always something new is evolving. The latest additions to our range are two very interesting jams, Vanilla and Coffee . They are great on scones and make excellent unusual presents.
I hope you find something of interest and I look forward to meeting or hearing from you soon.
As another growing season begins in our much-envied Taranaki temperate climate this is what is on the harvest menu:
I will have my usual array of Chilli from mid-January until late May. It is worth calling in just to view the chilli table especially in March, the peak of the season.
All the usual varieties:
Aji Anaheim
Big Jim
Cayenn
Cherry
Floral Gem
Habanero
Hungarian Yellow
Jalapeno
Longlong
Pasilla
Poblano
Rocotto
Serrano
Thai
Turkish
